GENERAL RULES

Smoking is prohibited.

Clean up after yourself and your horse. Use provided trash and recycling receptacles. Use provided muck buckets and rakes for manure, hair, and hoof trimmings.

Leave gates and doors as you found them. If in doubt, close it.

Call out to announce your presence and intention when entering or exiting areas where horses are handled.

Observe arena rules and etiquette when using the arenas.

If you move arena equipment or obstacles, return them to their original position and configuration.

Only tie horses to secure fixtures in designated areas. Do not tie to panels in the arena or paddocks.

Turn off lights when not in use.

Respect the property of others. Do not use or move tack, equipment, or supplies without permission from the owner.

Do not pet, handle, move, feed, or medicate a horse without permission from the owner.

Do not help yourself to hay, grain, or shavings from the farm supply.

A signed liability release must be on file for all boarders and guests. You are responsible for ensuring your guests sign a liability release.

Liability releases for minors must be signed by all parents or legal guardians. Minors must be directly supervised at all times.

An incident report must be completed in the event of any injury on premises.

Normal business hours are 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Respect the privacy of the residence. The home and surrounding yard are off limits except by invitation.

Due to the hazardous nature of equipment and materials kept in and around the south side of the barn and hay barn, this area is strictly off limits.

Drive slowly when entering and exiting the farm. Park vehicles and trailers in designated areas. Do not block any part of the driveway.

Active loading and unloading of vehicles and trailers by the barn shall not exceed 10 minutes.

Inhumane, neglectful, or malicious treatment of animals will not be tolerated.

Any trainer, riding instructor, exercise rider, or other equine professional must have a signed facility use agreement and adequate liability insurance on file with Kayenta Equestrian.

Treat staff with courtesy and respect.
